I have been having lessons with Clare for 32 years. She started teaching me when I was 17 and she was incredibly nurturing and careful in her handling of a young voice. She helped me choose repertoire and not only taught me how to sing safely and how to present myself in concert, but helped develop my passion for early and classical singing.
She was with me all the way through Operatunity, (a competition run by Channel 4 and English National Opera) helping me choose repertoire. She continued to support me after I won the competition and made my debut at the London Colosseum.
Claire has been a constant source of support and inspiration, and so much more than a teacher.
